As a part of our various talent encouragement programs, we are organizing a cultural event named "Uday" involving 5 schools and 2 orphanages that we are associated with. This event is a platform for the kids to showcase their talents in Singing and Dancing. This year about 300 kids from 7 institutions (5 schools and 2 orphanages) will participate in the event to be held on Saturday, 1st February 2014

All of you are invited to be part of this event !!!!!

Shikshana Abhiyana

Shikshana Abhiyana is an attempt to bridge the gap in the quality of education between Government/Government aided schools and Private schools by training students in English Grammar & Communication Skills and teachers in Computer Skills. Schools open this Saturday for Shikshana Abhiyana :

Breakfast serving is an activity for all the volunteers to meet up, exchange ideas and have discussions. This is also a platform for the new volunteers to get to know more about the activities and volunteers of Aashayein Foundation.

  Please help yourself to Nandhini Palace Hotel in JP Nagar. At Nandhini Palace (corner site) take the internal road (right side if you are coming from ORR) and then take the 2nd left turn into Puttanahalli main road. Continue beyond a lake and you shall find Bombay Dyeing followed by IBP petrol Bunk. Once you reach the petrol bunk, please take immediate right and continue along till you find a dead end.

Shikshana Abhiyana - Join us for SA classes on Saturday
Breakfast Serving- Seva Sadan orphanage, Bangalore on Sunday

Uday-2014 update…. 

As a part of our various talent encouragement programs, we are organizing a cultural event named "Uday" involving 5 schools and 3 orphanages that we are associated with. This event is a platform for the kids to showcase their talents in Singing and Dancing. This year about 300 kids from 8 institutions (5 schools and 3 orphanages) will participate in the event to be held on Saturday, 1st February 2014. Preparations have already started. Kids are practicing in their respective schools and orphanages on Saturdays and Sundays. We would require a huge team of volunteers both on the day of event and before (preparations for the event) to make this event a memorable one for the kids. This Sunday, after breakfast serving, we will be discussing about the preparations for this event. Request you to kindly join us. Details of the meeting below
