Al-Ameen school witnessed the Summer Camp closing ceremony last weekend, on Saturday May 16th 2010.          This weekend, two more schools bid adieu to the fun and learning experience. Summer Camp 2010 - Learn to Express!
Summer Camp 2010 was an attempt at the scholastic development of students at Government and Government aided schools. Shikshana Abhiyana Workshop :
Aashayein Foundation cordially invites the volunteers of Shikshana Abhiyana (SA), old and new to ‘Shikshana Abhiyana Workshop’ on May 29th and 30th 2010. The invitation is also extended to people interested in the activities of Aashayein Foundation. The workshop is happening on next Saturday and Sunday, at different places. Breakfast Serving on Saturday, May 22nd 2010 and Sunday, May 23rd 2010:
On Saturday, the breakfast will be served at Summer Camp at SVK and SG Palya School. The details of the school are mentioned under the first announcement.   As we are pulling down the curtains for the Summer Camp on Saturday, we are resuming with our zonal Sunday Breakfast Serving activity from Sunday, 23rd May 2010. Vasanth Nagar construction site is home to about 50 families with about 50 kids. The construction site is at a short distance after taking the turn.   If you are coming via Queens Road (from Cantonment towards Indian Express) you will find a congress office on right side. Immediately after the congress office you will find a turn, take right here (this is Guru Nanak Bhavan Road). Continue on this road till u reach dead end, take right at the dead end and then immediate left. Aashayein Foundation cordially invites all its volunteers to join the participants of the Summer Camp, both the children and the volunteers for the grand culmination ceremony.   Wait to watch a few magic tricks to be played by our guest magician, dance performance by the kids, a video showcasing rainbow moments of the Summer Camp 2010, acknowledging all the people who contributed in making this summer camp a successful event and most important to meet the children who made this camp a success. This weekend will be the penultimate weekend for the Summer Camp at SG Palya and SVK School. And the last weekend at the Al Ameen School. Summer Camp 2010 - Learn to Express! Summer Camp 2010 is an attempt at the scholastic development of children at Government and Government aided schools. Shikshana Abhiyana - Preparations for 2010 - 11: This academic year (2010-11) we plan to reach out to many more schools through SA. Our vision for SA project is to improve the quality of education at Govt. and Govt. aided schools. To handle the operations of SA in a school we would require 10 to 20 volunteers including one School Head.   A meeting will be held on Saturday, 8th May, 2010 with the School heads of the new area. During the meeting we will discuss about building the team and other aspects of the project. The meeting will be held at Al Ameen School, Shivajinagar from 10:30AM to 11:30AM. Request you to please come forward and grab this opportunity to teach kids in Govt. or Govt. aided school in your area.
