A platform where children showcase their talent, explore and express themselves

 REPORT:  GIFT YOUR VILLAGE | Saturday 8th January 2011

 

We are happy to inform you all that the 'Gift your Village' program under Pustaka Abhiyana Project was successfully executed in Yeldur village, Kolar on Jan 8th 2011 at "Sarkari Prathamika Shaale and Sarkari Prouda Shaale", a  school  adopted by  Aashayein Foundation under the "Karnataka School Nurturing Programme".

 

As a part of this activity, notebooks were distributed to the kids along with water purifiers, chairs, plastic drums, pencils, erasers and sharpeners.

518 students of this school have benefitted from this programme. These kids will now have access to better study material, hygienic drinking water and sanitation facilities.

 

The kids showcased their talents by performing cultural activities.

 

There were 12 volunteers who contributed to make the event successful. Congratulations to all those volunteers for being a part of this program.  We look forward to have your continuous support.
